Davos 26: Trump & Milei again fight against rent everything own nothing WEF agenda
The WEF again pushing the 'own nothing be happy' narrative this year but Trump and Milei socked it to them for us. Homes are built for people, not for corporations.
As expected, both Donald Trump and Javier Milei used the Davos stage to deliver a sharp rebuke to WEF cult propaganda messages. The shared economy promoted by the WEF as the future for us (not them) were rebuffed in style.
While they approached it from different angles with Trump coming from a populist homeownership focus and Milei from a philosophical natural rights perspective, both made private property a central pillar of their respective speeches. This is in stark contrast to the WEF approach of ‘own nothing and be happy’ which purely by chance would benefit a lot of the corporations and speakers at the summit to the tune of billions and global influence and control over citizens.
Ida Auken discussing her 2016 World Economic Forum work titled ‘Welcome to 2030. I own nothing, have no privacy, and life has never been better’ promoting not owning a car but sharing one between many households and ‘its easy and fun’. Not lecturing or patronising at all…especially when she avoids publicly declaring what property she owns. Even years later the WEF are relentlessly pushing this agenda .
America will not become a nation of renters, neither should the United Kingdom
Trump’s address was highly focused on the physical ownership of homes and land. He explicitly targeted the idea that individuals should move toward renting or subscribing to life’s essentials and rightly so.
Remember he signed an executive order intended to block large institutional investors (like hedge funds) from buying single family homes. He stated, “Homes are built for people, not for corporations.”
He went on to argue that private ownership is the primary way regular citizens build wealth, directly contradicting the ‘own nothing’ narrative. He stated that making housing cheap by flooding the market could crush the value of what existing homeowners already own.
Trump has his faults but he is spot on with this. In the UK we have heard MSM commentators even promote to the masses that no one should own anything nor inherit anything, it goes back to the state and be redistributed. Utter socialist policies and only benefits the corporations like Blackrock and political elites, not the normal people.
Property is a Natural Right says Milei
Lets be honest, for the right leaning among us, our highlight of 2025 was the Milei speech where he utterly destroyed the WEF. Again this year Milei gave a deeply philosophical speech, rooting his argument in the idea that private property is not just an economic tool, but a moral imperative.
He defined his entire political philosophy as the ‘unrestricted respect for the life project of others, based on the principle of non-aggression and in defence of life, liberty, and property.”
He argued that a system without private property is not only inefficient but unjust. He cited the Lockean principle of appropriation, claiming that property rights are earned through labour and discovery, and that the state has no moral right to redistribute them.
He warned that in many Western countries, property remains private on paper, but owners have lost control because the state dictates what they can do with it. He called this a downward spiral of regulations that effectively destroys home ownership.
Listen, the WEF is not for the people, it’s for the elites and we are just minions to be controlled
For me, both Trump and Milei have their faults which irritates me if i am honest as we are all on the right of politics fighting against the socialist left. But my goodness both of them are 100% right here, should be applauded and supported. Within the cult of the WEF where Corporations and elites who have no real connection to the real world from their wealthy ultra rich gated communities, they discuss and dictate what we the people should be thinking and how we should be behaving.
Their pomposity is unbelievable dictating how we should live our lives and behave. We need to stand up to this dictatorship.
