Lowe calls it; Starmer, Reeves, Fink & Gates are destroying UK farming for globalism
Starmer arrives in number 10. Then Larry Fink & Bill Gates arrive for a meeting. Out of the blue comes IHT on farmers, reduced land rates and we all know why, and Rupert Lowe just said it out loud.
Watching the latest interview with the great Rupert Lowe on Peter McCormack this week confirmed what we have thought all along but haven’t said it out loud as it seemed so far fetched.
In the wake of Labour’s 2024 landslide victory, Starmer wasted no time courting some of the world’s most influential figures. Within months, he hosted BlackRock CEO Larry Fink and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates sparking widespread speculation about the true agendas behind these high profile meetings. It’s not hard to see a pattern of betrayal coming from Starmer with policies that favour corporate giants over everyday British people and businesses, all echoing the ideologies of socialist institutions like the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) and EU.
The meetings and coverup
Public records, media reports, and Freedom of Information (FOI) requests paint a picture of strategic engagements designed to ‘unlock investment’ in the UK. The centrepiece was a joint meeting on October 17 2024 where Starmer and Reeves sat down with both Fink and Gates, alongside Gates Foundation CEO Mark Suzman. According to official statements and partial FOI disclosures, discussions revolved around embracing investment opportunities in green infrastructure. Starmer’s LinkedIn post following the meeting highlighted how such partnerships could ‘drive growth right across the UK whilst improving opportunities around the world.’ Really…I struggle to believe that personally, it’s all part of the global elite agenda.
FOI requests made were for full minutes, agendas, and briefing materials, submitted by concerned citizens and journalists but these were met with fierce resistance. The Cabinet Office initially claimed that no records existed for Gates’ October visit, which is totally unfathomable, before changing its stance to arguing that they did exist but transparency could deter businesses from engaging with government. Why are they lying and being so evasive?
We have since that time had Rupert Lowe experience the same lies within government when they stated there was no data on his FOI request, but a whistle blower emailed it to him saying it was known and openly discussed behind closed doors. The irony is that when Rupert stated that someone lied about this on the floor of the House of Commons he was severely chastised! Chastised for telling the truth that someone had lied! Perverse.
Starmer again met Fink in New York on September 25, 2024, during the UN General Assembly, where talks reportedly covered ‘boosting UK growth’ and easing regulatory delays. Another session on November 21, 2024, involved BlackRock’s full executive board, with photos showing a chummy atmosphere in Downing Street. Gates’ solo elements in October we are told emphasised climate and health, aligning with his foundation’s global priorities. Really….
Blackrock & Gates financial interests
Before we make any judgements we should really look at the background of these two men, see if there is anything that could cause alarm…(spoiler, there is)
First, Larry Fink’s BlackRock manages over $10 trillion in assets, making it a monster in global finance. Its interests span infrastructure, real estate, and sustainable investments and their Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) expose it to chemicals, machinery, and foods. Reports of a £100m hedge fund directly targeting UK farmland suggesting BlackRock eying opportunities amid distress sales…remember that.
Onto Bill Gates. With a net worth exceeding $130 billion, he holds vast personal and foundation investments. Gates is the largest private farmland owner in the US (nearly 270,000 acres), with stakes in agricultural tech, climate innovation (via Breakthrough Energy), and global health. We are told his Downing Street pitch focused on green projects, allegedly not so much his farmland empire…remember that too.
Labour 2024 manifesto
So now we know about both of them, their backgrounds and financial interests, lets move to reviewing the Labour manifesto from 2024 related to farming.
Firstly, Blackrock. There is no mention of inheritance tax on farmers, only promises for food security. Second, Gates. The solar farms that are said to be ‘essential for energy security’ and no mention of prime farmland being used.
Then came the Autumn budget with policy shifts not detailed within the Labour manifesto nor within any comments from Labour politicians we can find in the run up.
The manifesto pledged to pay fair compensation for compulsory purchase of any land from farmers but this was simply not true. This policy allowed the state to buy agricultural land at its current use value rate as a farm, which is significantly lower than its value as its ‘hope rate’ which is housing site as was the previous scheme.
The inheritance tax doom loop
The major issue was the IHT. An inheritance tax bill following the death of a farmer is the most egregious policy imaginable and has lead to the suicide of one farmer who knew if the new policy came in and he passed on, his family farm would no doubt be lost for future generations.
They key point Labour didn’t want to understand is that a farm’s value is tied up in land and machinery, not liquid cash.
The Problem: A farm valued at £3 million may only generate a profit of £30,000–£40,000 a year.
The Impact: Heirs will simply not have the money required, so forced to sell off chunks of land to pay the tax bill, which then leads to less revenue, less profit, less pay, and on it goes in a infinite downward loop.
But hope is not far away! Miraculously in steps Blackrock who use their £100m hedge fund for buying up swathes of UK farmland to help those farmers pay that bill. This continued fragmentation makes the remaining farm too small to be commercially viable, leading to a slow death of the family farming model but Blackrock now have huge volumes of assets in the farming sector thanks to, you guessed it, Starmer and Labour policies.
I hope you can now understand what is happening to the country under Labour. And its refreshing to hear Rupert Lowe call it out for what it is.
The deliberate destruction of British farming.
