Mandelson fallout exposes Labour's Lord Doyle links to pedophile
Lord Glasman said that new Labour was leading to perversion and pedophilia. We said at the time we hope it wasn't true but after all this and the grooming gang coverup, it looks like he was right.
The drip drip of scandal surrounding Mandelson’s ties to Jeffrey Epstein just keeps on going despite not all the documents being revealed. Not only do we have revelations of Mandelson’s own disgraced associations with the pedophile, money transfers and staying in his home whilst he was in prison, but also the troubling connections of the man who approved his appointment as UK ambassador to the US.
We were told that Starmer approved Mandelson despite clear warnings, but now the man who did in reality approve him, former communications director Lord Doyle, has been exposed as campaigning for Sean Morton after he was charged with possessing and distributing indecent images of children in December 2016.
This web of dark and sinister associations raises serious questions about judgement and ethics at the highest levels of government, as new documents expose rushed decisions, missing files, and potential cover-ups in Labour’s handling of the affair.
The internal documents
The released internal documents paint a damning picture of the Mandelson appointment process. Starmer was explicitly warned of reputational risks due to Mandelson’s particularly close friendship with Epstein, which continued after the financier’s 2008 conviction for child sex offences. A 2019 JP Morgan report highlighted Mandelson’s ongoing relationship with Epstein, including stays at his properties, yet Starmer proceeded with the £180,000-a-year role in December 2024. Mandelson served from February 2025 until his sacking in September, following further revelations from US Justice Department files, and to cap it off wanted a huge £500k severance package.
Key details include:
No Personal Interview Starmer admitted he never directly questioned Mandelson about his Epstein links, relying instead on aides like Lord Doyle and chief of staff Morgan McSweeney, both seen as Mandelson proteges and both involved in disgusting activities revealed in the last few months.
Rushed Process National security adviser Jonathan Powell flagged the appointment as weirdly rushed, with the through vetting process limited to just three questions.
Missing Files Accusations of a cover-up stem from 56 absent documents, including Starmer’s comments on due diligence reports, which appear blank in released memos, have then been redacted or did he not review them, who knows.
Starmer’s Connections Lord Doyle, who signed off on Mandelson after reviewing his responses, was later suspended from Labour for supporting Sean Morton, a former councillor convicted in 2018 of possessing indecent images of children.
Shameful Peerage Starmer granted Doyle a peerage in December 2024, aware of this link, and a No10 probe was handled by Doyle’s successor.
New Evidence A photo has emerged showing Mandelson, Prince Andrew, and Epstein together, underscoring the depth of ties. Mandelson is still under police investigation for allegedly leaking government secrets to Epstein during the 2008 financial crash.
Starmer has apologised to Epstein’s victims, calling the appointment a “mistake” and accusing Mandelson of lying about the extent of his relationship despite him havign access to security services and like the entire UK main stream media reports like that of Sky news who chased Mandelson down the street at one point asking about his friendship with Epstein. However, Mandelson denies deceit, and ongoing Metropolitan Police probes have delayed full disclosure.
More serious questions to answer for Starmer
This scandal exposes glaring flaws in Labour’s governance. Why did Starmer ignore explicit warnings from advisers and reports detailing Mandelson’s post conviction ties to Epstein? Alternatively Relying on a close-knit circle, including Doyle with his own troubling associations. It all smacks of cronyism over competence. The blank comments in key memos and missing files suggest deliberate opacity, misleading Parliament and the public - not the first time for this government.
Starmer’s claim that Mandelson lied rings hollow when he admits no direct questioning occurred, pointing to a failure in basic due diligence. Broader Labour links to figures like Morton raise alarms about the party’s vetting standards, especially under a leader who was once Director of Public Prosecutions. In a time of eroding trust in politics due to this government, this episode fuels suspicions of elite protectionism, where personal loyalties trump national interest and victim accountability.
Mandelson wasnt called the Prince of Darkness for nothing
The Mandelson-Epstein affair is a stark reminder of how entrenched networks in Westminster can prioritise power over propriety, leaving Britain vulnerable to reputational damage on the global stage.
Restore Britain’s policies offer a clear path forward. Demanding full transparency in appointments, rooting out cronyism through stricter ethical reforms, and restoring integrity to public office. Under Rupert Lowe’s leadership, the party champions accountability and national sovereignty, ensuring no one is above scrutiny as can be seen with his appearances on the Public Accounts Committee leaving ministers flailing.
Implementing these measures would prevent such scandals, rebuilding a government that truly serves the British people rather than shielding the elite and their horrrific wrongdoing.
