New Labour leads to perversion and pedophilia says Lord Glasman. For once dear God, say this is untrue.
Despite a chaotic day for the disastrous Labour government, with resignations, revelations, backstabbing and leadership rival websites, I pray the latest comments from Lord Glassman are untrue.
He is a Labour life peer in the House of Lords so he knows a thing or two. Elevated to the peerage in 2011, Lord Glasman has been a member of the party for decades, having originally joined in 1976. He is a loyal Labour man.
So his interview on Sunday Morning with Trevor Philips on Sky. where he said New Labour needs rejecting and it leads to perversion and pedophilia I was shocked to hear, but not surprised if I think about the scandals of the last 30 years with Labour and ‘sexual misconduct’ lets call it. He also revealed he had flagged to Number 10 about the Mandelson & Epstein’s relationship last September but was met with a “discreet suggestion to basically shut up”.
Even Ben Habib says Mandelson is part of a sick establishment, “satanic… its awful, its awful” he said in a recent interview after reviewing the Epstein files and wonders what filth he has on others in government to managed to get fired twice, still become a Lord then go onto get another of the most powerful positions in government. Something isnt right. Whats does he know…
This week has also seen the wonderful Sammy Woodhouse on the Independent Rape Gang Enquiry panel where labour MPs, ministers, police and officials have been accused of ignoring and covering up the rape of 100,000’s of schoolgirls for block votes but she had time to weighed in with her reference to previous Labour MPs who considered it to be completely acceptable to have sex with 10 year olds.
Continous chaotic scenes in No.10
It’s not just the smell of fear in Westminster today; it’s the unmistakable rotting stench of a corrupt and untrustworthy government in the advanced stages of moral and political decomposition. The fallout from the Epstein files has finally detonated directly under Keir Starmer’s feet and the resulting shrapnel is tearing his administration apart with breathtaking speed.
The sheer scale of the chaos is hard to process. First, Starmer’s right hand man, chief of staff Morgan McSweeney, was forced to fall on his sword, admitting he advised the PM to appoint Peter Mandelson despite knowing of his toxic links. Next, Director of Communications Tim Allan fled the scene, the fourth person to abandon that cursed post. The rats are leaving a sinking ship.
But the most devastating blow came from within. Anas Sarwar, the Scottish Labour leader, broke ranks to publicly demand Starmer’s resignation. For a senior figure to turn on his own leader like this is unprecedented and signals a complete loss of authority, respect and confidence in Starmers leadership.
The vultures are circling Keir
Adding to the humiliation, Wes Streeting one of Starmer’s own cabinet ministers released texts where he agreed with Mandelson that the government has “no growth strategy”. Streeting’s calculated move to publish these messages now, just before the release of even more damaging communications, feels like a leadership challenge in all but name. But hang on, there is more than one vulture circling, did you see the “Rayner for Leader” website published live by accident, a stark reminder of the ambitions of his deputy, herself branded a tax avoider over her past property dealings.
The markets are reacting with predictable panic, with UK Gilts having a disastrous day as investors lose all faith in this paralysed self destructing administration increasing the cost of borrowing on our already nearlt £3tn debt mountain. But the financial bleeding is nothing compared to the moral haemorrhaging.
More is yet to come, and it will be just as sickening
A palpable dread hangs over Whitehall about what the next batch of Epstein files will reveal. The rumour mill is in overdrive with whispers that a former British Prime Minister could be implicated and possible confirmation to who we think is Lord Alli (remember his feebies for access?). This is the legacy of New Labour that Lord Glasman issued a stark warning about on Sky News, cautioning against the very figures Starmer chose to embrace. Glasman, a figure from the party’s own benches, has been a vocal critic of the direction the party has taken.
Most sickening of all is the hypocrisy. While Starmer offers crocodile words for Epstein’s victims across the Atlantic, his own government is presiding over a shameful betrayal of victims here in the UK. The inquiry into grooming gangs is stalling, with survivors resigning in disgust at what they see as a watered down process and a toxic environment created by Labour ministers. They feel dismissed and disbelieved, their suffering sacrificed on the altar of political correctness. Starmer’s selective empathy is a disgrace.
We are witnessing the end days of a government that is morally bankrupt, politically impotent and shameful. The question isn’t if Starmer will fall, but when, and what horrifying new revelations will finally bury him and result in MPs and minsters being investigated by the police.
It’s not just the Government in trouble, it’s the entire political elite at risk of collapse.
